The Greater Accra Regional Minister Hon. Ishmael Ashitey inaugurated the Ablekuma North Municipal Assembly in Accra with a call on all stakeholders to serve and develop the Municipality and help build a better Ghana.
He said this call would ensure effective and efficient decentralization through grass-root participation, better planning and improved service delivery in local communities.
Ablekuma North is among the ten other newly created Assembly within the region with kpone-katamanso being elated to a municipal status.
Hon. Ishmael Ashitey inaugrated the Assembly on behalf of President Akufo Addo.
