The Department of Children celebrated one (1) calendar day event. The celebration was 2025 Africa Safer Internet Day which took place in Independence Avenue on the theme Digital Citizenship: Educating an African Fit for the 21st Century. This year’s celebration aimed at promoting safer, responsible and positive use of digital technology and educate all digital users about the best practices for a safer online experience. Facilitators sensitized the above schools using flashcards and handbooks on online safety.
