The Authority visited all 29 MMDAs, to monitor and assess their spatial planning functions for the year. The monitoring team evaluated the performance of the MMDAs in regard of Evaluation of MMDAs performance against legal mandate and functions,Assessment of challenges, opportunities and capacity gaps for land use and spatial planning, Sensitization on land use planning and management.The team also sensitized and provided recommendations to the MMDAs on how to improve their spatial planning functions.
