The Greater Accra Regional Environmental Health and Sanitation Department organised a clean-up exercise on 24th July,2024 at the frontage of the Greater Accra Regional Coordinating Council. According to the Regional Director, Mrs. Sybil Marie Boison they conducted this clean-up exercise to enhance the aesthetic appeal and maintain a positive public image.Cleaning materials and tools were provided by the central administration,She said they worked together as a team, and also divided the responsibility to ensure efficiency.The team swept the walkway and pavement, removing of latter, debris and weeds, they also disposed all waste generated.
She also reveal that there will be a regular clean-up exercise to maintain the frontage and appearance.In conclusion the Regional Director,Mrs Sybil Marie Boison said the frontage clean-up exercise was a success.
