GAR Minister visited the Regional Police Command

On June 19th to 20th, 2024, the Greater Accra Regional Minister Hon.Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover conducted a two-day working visit to the Accra Regional Police Command and the Tema Regional Police Command, respectively in his capacity as Chairman of the Regional Security Council. The purpose of his visit was to gain a comprehensive understanding of police operations and the challenges they face in the region.
During his visit, He discussed some key issues.?Police-civilian relationships, ?The threat of land guards,?Armed robbery,?Chieftaincy matters, ?Election 2024
The Hon Regional Minister commended the police for their hard work, sacrifices, dedication, and commitment to maintaining law and order. The police also highlighted some challenges they face.?Lack of vehicles and motorcycles and Poor lighting systems within the region
Additionally, the Tema Regional Command requested the construction of a new police station in Doryumu and a new Regional Police Command at Community
He assured the police command of his commitment to addressing some of their challenges, empowering them to continue their excellent work for the region and the nation as a whole.
