To promote good health through Hygiene Education, cleaning of premises, weeding and other Environmental Sanitation actions, the GARCC brought up a supporting pilot Environmental Sanitation programe captioned ‘Joint Operation Clean Your Frontage’. This was piloted in 6 MMDAs namely, AMA, KoKMA, Ayawaso East, West, North and Central. This consists of a Task Force that helped with Law enforcement and confiscation of unwholesome products and Environmental Health Inspection Teams.The team checked expired products in a store and indiscriminate dumping of office items
The program shall be tried in the rest of Greater Accra when the pilot phase is done in 2024.
