The president’s Chief Executive nominee for the Ledzokuku Municipal Assembly (LEKMA), Mordecai Quashe, was Tuesday 9th November, 2021,sworn into office by the Ledzokuku Magistrate Judge.The confirmation and subsequent swearing in of the Hon. Mordecai Quashe brings the total number of MMDCEs to twenty-nine (29) in the region. This is to say, all Assemblies in the capital have Chief Executive to carry out government business. The inauguration ceremony took place at the conference room of the Assembly immediately his confirmation process brought together Assembly Members, party executives, friends and family and staff of the municipal Assembly.The chief Director at the Regional Coordinating Council, Madam Felicia Dapaah, congratulated the Municipal Chief Executive and urged him to learn to do things differently in order not to break the trust and confidence the good people of his constituency have reposed in him. She used the opportunity to also express her appreciation to the, Assembly members and all other dignitaries for a successful completion of the process. The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Modeccai Quashed, also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all n pledged to contribute his quota in the development agenda of the municipality.He obtained 78% of total valid votes cast.
