The Department of Social Welfare received Forty-one (41) missing children at various points within the region.They were 36 boys and 33 girls. The Regional Director Anastasia Kpei (Ph.D)in an interview said most of the children are still under institutional care in the region whilst efforts are being made towards finding their relatives or placing them with permanent families. She also said care plans have been drawn to ensure their survival and development.
