The Ghana Library Authority is an agency under the Ministry of Education with the mandate to establish, equip, manage and maintain public libraries in Ghana.In line with this mandate the Authority now manages 14 libraries in 10 districts in the Greater Accra region.
The Authoritys mobile library van visited so many schools this month. St.Gabriel Int.School,Winkles Int. Sch., Habis School,Glowing Angels School,Standard Foundation School, Kaneshie Cluster of Schools, McCarthy Hill School and St. Mary’s School got the opportunity to experience how the mobile van library works.The learners were also given the opportunity to borrow books for home reading.
