Parks and Gardens Unit undertakes Landscape works at Ridge and Danquah Roundabouts

The Parks and Gardens Unit under the Physical Planning Department of the Greater Accra Regional Coordination Council began landscaping works at the Ridge and Danquah roundabouts area from Tuesday 5th July, 2022. The activity was a collaboration between the department and the Rebecca Foundation to give a facelift to these two roundabouts in the capital city.

One other objective of the activity was also to beautify Ghana’s road medians and its environs. A total of 3,223m2 of a target of 1,200m2 of open space had been landscaped across the region as at end of THHE EXERCISE.
