The Regional Department of Agriculture under the Greater Accra Coordinating Council is one of the 16 regional departments of agriculture in Ghana.They conducted monitoring to evaluate the performance of mango and coconut seedlings that were distributed and planted in the districts. Coconuts and mangoes distributed under the Planting for Export and Rural Development program are showing steady growth, with a few trees already beginning to bear fruit.
