In the month of June, pruning of fallen and heavy canopy trees was done by the Department of Parks and Gardens at Cantonments and its environs. Areas include, Osu cemetery, Morning Star School, Akufo Addo Roundabout among others. As the mission of the department of Parks and Gardens exists to facilitate the rapid development of the horticultural potential of Ghana, for the benefit of her people through public education, effective beautification, maintenance programme and conservation and collaborating with stakeholders and the use of competent and well-motivated staff and modern technology to offer client satisfaction.
