The Department in collaboration with Aaya Green, a private organization into environmental conservation and protection, visited Obonu FM for a talk show on the importance of protecting the environment especially planting trees. The Department also took the opportunity to sensitize the public on its activities and mandate.As part of the collaboration, free trees were given out to some April borns to encourage the public to plant trees as part of the Green Ghana initiative.
