LUSPA GAR in collaboration with RCC organized capacity building workshop for the MMDAs from in 2023 on Spatial/Permit Database Creation, which aimed to train and assist MMDAs to set up and create a GIS-based spatial/permit database using information from permit applications. The spatial/permit database is a system that stores and manages spatial and permit data in a digital format that can be easily accessed, analysed, and updated.
Work sessions on Spatial/Permit Database Creation were held for all twenty-nine (29) MMDAs at their respective offices, and some MMDAs received further follow-up sessions for data entry and technical support. The work sessions covered topics such as data collection, data entry, data validation, data analysis, data visualization, to mention but a few.
