The Regional Department of Agriculture has hold its Mid-year review meeting bringing together all the District Directors of the 29 MMDAs of the Region to present their planned and implemented activities for the first and second quarters.
A total of 44 (32 males and 12 females) participants attended the programme.
Some selected districts (Shai Osudoku, Adenta, Ga South, Weija Gbawe, Ayawaso East and others) presented their implemented activities for the first and second quarters.
Questions and discussions were made on some issues and success stories. Recommendations were made to all districts to follow.
A key discussion tabled was the fact the MAG programme has ended, and districts were to sources for other funds to support them in implementing their activities. strategies were suggested to sustain the gains of the MAG programme.
