The Department of Environmental Health and Sanitation visited the La Municipal on the 6th of May 2023. The first point of call was Alonte Bar sanitary site, the premise was in a terrible condition due to the inefficiency of the Zoomlion truck driver. According to the attendance, he refused to evacuate the overloaded skips. As at the time of inspection, some tricycle operators have turned the site into their transfer station. They also took the opportunity to visit the La omanye site and it was in a very terrible state due to the same reason as the Alonte Bar. The site is at the landing beach and its not good for food hygiene.
