Officers of the Department of Social Welfare within the region visited all Residential Homes for children. A team from the Regional office visited four (15) Residential Homes for Children. Missing children at various points within the region, which involved boys and girls. Most of the said children are still under institutional care in the region whilst efforts are being made towards finding their relatives or placing them with permanent families. Meanwhile, care plans have been drawn to ensure their survival and development.
