Staff of the Greater Accra Regional Coordinating council (GARCC) have undergone intensive training on fire safety on 29th November,2023 in collaboration with the Ghana National Fire Service to reinforce a culture of safety within the organization and contribute to the overall well-being of the employees.
The training program was organised at the GARCC Conference Room and for all staff and departments. As a responsible and safety-conscious organization, we recognized the importance of fire safety in the workplace and are committed to ensuring the well-being of employees.
The purpose of the training was to enhance our employee’s knowledge and preparedness in dealing with fire emergencies, untimely creating a safer work environment. The training service covered topics such as fire prevention, emergency evacuation procedures, proper usage of fire extinguishers and general fire safety practice.
The overarching objective of the training programme was for the employees to acquire knowledge on hand-on exercise and demonstrations to ensure gains and valuable insights.
