The Social Welfare Department visited some day care centres in the GA total number of forty-nine (49) new schools were registered, one hundred and thirty-two (132) operation certificates were renewed and one hundred and seventy-six (176) daycare certificates were received in this quarter. Four hundred and eighteen (418) daycare centres operating within the region were monitored and recommendations were made to improve low-standard centres that are operating and constant follow-ups being made to ensure compliance.
