The Department of Parks and Gardens carried out tree planting exercise at various locations across the country as part of the Green Ghana Planting exercise.In the Greater Accra region planting was done at cantonments around the Christ the king Catholic church and AMA. As the mission of the department of Parks and Gardens exists to facilitate the rapid development of the horticultural potential of Ghana, for the benefit of her people through public education, effective beautification, maintenance programme and conservation and collaborating with stakeholders and the use of competent and well-motivated staff and modern technology to offer client satisfaction.
