Titus Glover marks Green Day Ghana.

The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Hon. Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover planted African Star seedling commonly known as ‘Alasa’ on ‘Green Day Ghana’ on Friday 7, June, 2024 at the Burma Camp Accra to mark the 2024 edition of Green Ghana.

The Green Day Ghana was instituted by Government, under the auspices of the Ministry of Land and Natural Resources, as part of an aggressive afforestation and reforestation agenda to restore the lost forest of the country.

The theme for this year’s Green Day Ghana was ‘#LetsGoPlanting’ and it targets to plant twenty million trees across the country.

The GAR minister detailed, tress are very lifeline of our environment.They provide the oxygen we breathe, clean our air and protect our soil.He said Green Ghan is a bold step towards a healthier environment. 

As the saying goes when the last tree dies, the last man dies.
