Nadmo engages some communities within the region on tree planting to avoid floodind and disaster.As the mission of Nadmo is to manage disasters by coordinating the resources of government institutions and non-governmental agencies, and developing the capacity of communities to respond effectively to disasters and improve their livelihood through social mobilization, and poverty reduction projects .NADMO aimed to evaluate the success of the community based activities, such as training programs and awareness campaigns, in building local capacity to respond to disasters.
