The Ghana Health Services recorded maternal and perinatal care issues by the Region in the three-year trend. It therefore concludes that, there was a sharp decrease in total deliveries in 2023, reduction in percentage skilled deliveries from 51.1 to 48.2% respectively 2022 and 2023, A slight reduction in the total maternal deaths recorded, an increase in institutional maternal mortality rate, a decrease in still birth from 12.5 to 11.5, and a high decrease in institutional infant mortality rate in 2023.
