The Department of Community Development monitoring team visited the Azizanya community.They also visited the community together with the Ada child protection actors, they engaged community members on parental neglect, verbal abuse and physical abuse. In this engagement, good and bad behaviors were discussed with the community members using the child protection flash cards. Through the discussions, the community members mentioned one major issue that has become very common in the community teenage pregnancy. Members were then sensitized on teenage pregnancy. The facilitators used the Circle of Support activity to empower the community members on the prevention of child abuse and sexual exploitation.
