The Krowor Municipal Assembly has confirmed Ing. Paul Afotey Quaye, as its Municipal Chief Executive at a confirmation election held at the GNAT hall on Friday. During the process, all 17 eligible voters, comprising 11 elected Assembly members and 6 government appointees, voted Yes’ in favour of the President’s nominee.
The Electoral Commission under the supervision of Gifty Akorfu, municipal electoral officer, conducted the election which was supervised the Hon. Regional Minister and member of Parliament of the area Hon. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey who doubles as the Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection.
