Hon. Ludwig Teye Totimeh, the President’s nominee for the Tema West Municipal Assembly has been confirmed by the Assembly Assemblies at an election held within the office premises. During the confirmation process, all the 16 Assembly members, comprising of 11 elected and 5 government appointees all voted ‘Yes” to endorse the nominee. The ceremony was witness by the Member of Parliament of Tema West Lawyer James Enu, Hon. Dr. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, policy Adviser, office of the Vice President and supervised by the Hon Regional Minister Hon. Linda Akweley Ocloo.
Dr. Ofosu-Ampofo in his speech assured the Assembly and its indigenes that they would not be left out of government’s development initiatives. Reaffirming that, government is committed to equitable across all districts and in due course Tema West will enjoy its fair share of the National cake.
