The Department of Birth and Death with the support of HISWAP and the National office the region conducted widespread community sensitization programs to educate citizens on the legal and social importance of birth and death registration. They utilized radio broadcasts, community announcement center to disseminate messages and address frequently asked questions. They also partnered with traditional leaders, and faith-based organizations to advocate for timely registration at the grassroots level.
