The Korle Kolttey Municipal Assembly within 10 days after their first confirmation election, where the President’s nominee failed to pull two thirds majority of the total votes cast but secured 10 ‘Yes’ and 7 ‘No’ representing 58 percent has finally been confirmed.
At the second round of voting, all the 17 Assembly members comprising 11 elected and 6 government appointees voted ‘Yes’ representing a 100 percent endorsement and was subsequently sworn into office by the Hon. Greater Accra Regional Minister, Hon. Linda Akweley Ocloo.
