The President’s nominee for the position of Municipal Chief Executive for Okaikwei North Municipal Assembly Mr. Christian Tetteh Badger has been confirmed at election conducted by the electoral commission in their office. The process which was witness by the member of parliament of the area, Hon. Theressa Lardi Awuni saw all 17 assembly members comprising 11 elected and 6 government appointees voting ‘Yes’ to endorse Mr. Badger.
The Greater Accra Regional Minister who was visibly excited by the endorsement, expressed gratitude to the assembly members for ensuring a smooth and peaceful electoral process adding that, “this shows you have confidence in the President’s nominee”.
He called on all newly confirmed Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives to commit fully to the President’s development vision by working hard to reset their districts by serving with integrity and dedication.
