The Authority continued its ongoing Local Plan revision project for various state lands in Accra by conducting an exhibition at Labone and Cantoment to present the draft proposals for the local plans revision. The Authority after this prepared draft technical reports for the Labone and Cantonments areas, and submitted to the respective Assemblies to guide the implementation of the revised plan. Airport West and Airport Residential Local Plans were approved in the 2nd quarter and Revised Labone Residential and East Cantonments Sector 1 and 2 were approved in the 4th quarter of 2014.
In addition, field data collection on the existing height zones, land uses, street names, entry ways among others was collected by the Field agents from LUSPA and La Dade-Kotopon Municipal Assembly for East Legon Abasssadorial Enclave, East Legon Extension, East Legon Mempemehoasem, Switch Back and East La communities. The exercise is at a stage where the technical team is reviewing and analyzing data to prepare initial draft reports and as built plans to be submitted to La Dade-Kotopon Municipal Assembly for review.
