The LUSPA-GAR, in collaboration with the RCC and LUSPA Head Office, organized three (3) Regional Spatial Planning Committee (RSPC) meetings as part of its planned activities. They reviewed and approved the Greater Accra Metropolitan Area (GAMA) Structure Plan. This 15-year framework, funded by the African Development Bank, aims to guide the rapid development of the Greater Accra Metropolitan Area which covered the presentation of the Final Report of the Performance Monitoring and Evaluation of Spatial Planning activities of MMDAs in the Region, along with other technical endeavors involving some assemblies. The RSPC was invited as participants in a regional consultative meeting on the review of zoning guidelines and planning standards.
